The Lane MRC staff depends on the invaluable assistance provided by MRC Volunteers. Volunteers help us to check out, check in, and reshelve over 23,500 items during the course of the school year.
Volunteers generally work a one hour shift encompassing their child’s MRC class. Volunteers pick up MRC materials from the classroom, check the materials in, check materials out to the students, and shelve the returned books. If volunteers have more time available to give, they may be involved in processing new materials or other special projects.
