The MRC functions as the information center of the school, as a place for individual, grade level, and school-wide learning activities, and as a library to check out books and other materials. Its program is fully integrated into the school’s curriculum and is coordinated by a director.
Reading materials come in many formats including books, magazines, audio books on CD, audio books on Playaways, and interactive online books. The MRC provides access to all of these types of materials. If your child, in grade 3 and above, would like to be allowed to check out audio books and/or players, an MRC AV Materials permission form must be signed and on file in the MRC.
