The Lane MRC does accept donations of new books and materials.  Materials must meet the criteria of the District 181 Materials Selection Procedure.  Donation bookplates are placed in donated materials to acknowledge the donation.  If you have questions about the suitability of a potential donation, please contact the MRC Director.

The Lane MRC does accept donations of gently used books and materials with the following understanding.

Donated materials will be reviewed to determine their suitability for the MRC and the MRC Collection’s current needs. 

If donated materials are not used by the MRC, they will be offered to other staff within the school.

If donated materials are not needed by building staff, they will be donated to another educational institution.  Other educational institutions may include sister schools and SCARCE, but are not limited to these institutions.
