The Lane School MRC holds a book fair each fall. This book fair offers parents, students, and staff the opportunity to purchase new books at the school. Proceeds from the book fair directly benefit the MRC and are used to purchase additional materials for the MRC.
Beginning in 2008, the MRC also offered a summer reading book fair at the end of the school year. The focus of this book fair is paperback books for summer reading.
The Lane School Book Fairs are staffed by parent volunteers and provide a necessary supplement to the MRC’s materials budget. The purchase of books at the book fair for donation to the MRC and/or a classroom is encouraged.
