The visual art experience at Walker exposes students to a wide variety of media using numerous art production techniques like painting, printmaking, ceramics and computer graphics (see video podcast link to the right). Not only do students explore art production, but also with each art piece created they learn about history, aesthetics & criticism. These lessons help students develop their understanding of visual culture so that they’re able to make connections between academic learning and everyday life.
