Education:  I am a graduate of Eastern Illinois University with a B.S. in Elementary/Special Education.  I received my Master’s in Instruction and Curriculum from National Louis University in 2008 and have now added 24 hours of continuing education.

Experience:  I have taught first grade at Walker School for ten years.  I have also taught second grade, fifth grade, and children with learning disabilities.  In total, I have taught twenty one years.

Family:  I have three children.  My oldest son attended E.I.U. and is now back in school.  My middle son and daughter graduated from the University of Kentucky.  Drew is now an account manager for J.B. Hunt in Kentucky.  Sarah is currently attending Chicago College of Pharmacy at Midwestern University.  I enjoy working out, reading, and spending time with my family.
